We have several dog-friendly areas across the park including our reception, arcade, indoor and outdoor spaces at The Bar and Restaurant and the outdoor pool area. Your dog really is welcome in so many places on-park from the moment you arrive so you don’t have to worry about leaving them behind!

Coastal Walks and Countryside Trails

Doggies are spoilt for choice when it comes to local walks in the local area around Hayling Island. From beachside strolls to countryside wanders, here are some popular walkies hotspots:

Hayling dog friendly trails

Hayling Billy Trail

This 9.69 mile (15.5km) walk runs along the west coast of the island on an old railway line, offering scenic views of Langstone Harbour. Dogs should stay on a lead near wildlife areas.

West Beach and Beachland

Dogs are allowed on certain areas of Hayling Island’s beaches, particularly during the off-season (October to April). West Beach is a great spot to take in the sea views and there’s also a nearby grassy area for dogs to run around.

Staunton Country Park

Located nearby in Havant (just off the Island), this park offers expansive grounds, a lake and wooded trails. Dogs are welcome on leads in some areas, with off-lead sections available too.
